Hi all,
I’m developing a little app under Google appscript. I have 19 contacts in my portal,
but when i call api.hubapi.com/contacts/v1/lists/all/contacts/all?hapikey=[my_key]&count=100 i get only 11 of them.
Anybody with the same issue?

Ok so.. i was searching differences between contacts returned from api and the one not returned.
All the not returned ones are coming from Chat Bot source !
The returned contacts instead are from other sources like ads, site forms, manual and others.
What can i do?
Hi, @jakino.
That sounds strange! Could you share links to some of these “missing” contacts?
These are examples:
These contacts are returned individually by GET /contacts/v1/contact/vid/:vid/profile , but they are not returned by GET /contacts/v1/lists/all/contacts/all (with count=100) .
I can provide apikey in PM.
I’m trying to solve this problem, but i’m using contacts api with only two parameters : hapikey and count =100, and i can’t get all the contacts created by chatbot. I’m comparing json strings got from direct browser url call to avoid any personal coding error… I think this is an hubspot api issue. Can you please test it?
Hi, @jakino.
Apologies for the delayed response.
You’re not doing anything wrong; I can reproduce the issue as well. I’ll be reaching out to the product team and we’ll investigate the behavior further.
Thank you for your continued patience.
Nice ty
Any news??
I can’t develop any app if your APIs are’s working..
Thank you for your work.
Hi, @jakino.
Sincere apologies for how long this has taken.
Late last week, one of our engineers found and resolved the issue with bot-sourced contacts, so newly-created contacts should not be affected.
We are still working to backfill and resolve the behavior for existing contacts, however. I’ve reminded him that this is an ongoing issue for you, so I suspect he will be working on it today.
Thank you again for reporting this and for your continued patience.
Hi, @jakino.
All bot-created contacts should now be returned via the Get all contacts endpoint!
If you find this isn’t the case, could you share a link to an example contact?
Thanks again for your patience throughout this process.
Ok so..
I see 99 contacts on hubspot interface.
Every contacts has one deal: deals are 74, so the interface is returning some duplicate contacts, i don’t know why.
Api return 74 contacts, so it is working.
I have an interface issue now.
Hi, @jakino.
Per my last message, could you please provide a link or an email of a contact who is not appearing in either the API or in the interface. I can’t investigate further without specific examples.
Api is ok.
Web interface is returning duplicate contacts. Some examples:
Thank you for including those links, @jakino, however I’m still unsure as to what you mean by “duplicate contacts.”
HubSpot deduplicates contact records by email address, so no two contacts can have the same email address, however one real-life person could have two different email addresses and thus two separate contact records.
Is that what you’re seeing? Like with two contacts named “Alessia,” for example?
The problem is on the client side I think.
I see a total of 104 contacts on contacts panel.
( Loading... )
The problem is : i don’t have 104 contacts. I have 79 contacts.
In the contacts panel some of them are duplicated: same email, name, number , ect.
If i order them by name, i can see duplicated ones easily. They are exactly the same.
When i search for one of them in the search bar, only one is returned, so it’s a bit weird.
Screen as POC.
Ah, I see, @jakino! Thanks for documenting this. It’s certainly strange behavior where merged contact records still appear separately the contact home page.
I’ll share this with the team so we can get it sorted out.
Ty.
