Cannot Setup Webhooks - Buttons Greyed Out + Missing Scopes + App Getting Bricked

Hi guys,

I’ve spent several hours on trying to configure webhooks for my app.

Problem 1:

In my dev console, a lot of important buttons are greyed out after I created the app. I cannot “Create app”, I cannot Delete “app”, I cannot “Create subscription”.

When I hover over the buttons, I get “This action requires elevated permissions”. Of course, I did not manage to find any mentions of this error message in the documentation. Keep in mind it was ME who originally created the first app (1861976).

When I try to authorize myself even before trying to register my webhook events, I’m getting this error:

So I can basically contact myself, who cannot edit the app, delete the app, or add webhook subcriptions manually. The only way for me to create a new app is to set up a new developer account.
When I created the app in the console, I selected ALL possible scopes for the app which were available to minimize any scope issues.

Any ideas how to get out of this vicious loop and:
1) Subscribe to an event

2) Ungrey my important buttons?

For the greyed-out buttons, it seems like it’s happening when I try to edit scopes in an existing app - then the app gets doomed all the sudden. I don’t understand why. The app is not even listed anywhere…

Also, there is no alert that touching the scopes will result in “bricking” the app (=it won’t be possible to even delete the app).

This is all very confusing.

And finally, even when you somehow manage to get authorized and then you try to register a webhook, you get an error like this:

[403] The scope needed for this API call isn’t available for public use. If you have questions, contact support or post in our developer forum.. HubSpot Correlation ID: b300142d-76da-45bf-a61c-66f597bda7af

Which based on my googling means that I need an “Enterprise” license.
It’s dead end after dead end.
