c# ImportRequestValidatorError.INVALID_PROPERTY_NAMES

Hello everyone,
I succedded to import basic csv files with predefined columns but trying with custom new columns, the api returns the following error :

{
 "status": "error",
 "message": "The following property names are invalid: [Street Address, Company Name, Postal Code, Phone Number, Website URL, Company identification number, VAR Number, [MR] Secteur d'activité, Internal Customer ID].",
 "correlationId": "85d3e595-a848-4848-8eb4-f7f15c4054df",
 "context": {
 "invalidProperties": [
 "Street Address",
 "Company Name",
 "Postal Code",
 "Phone Number",
 "Website URL",
 "Company identification number",
 "VAR Number",
 "[MR] Secteur d'activité",
 "Internal Customer ID"
 ]
 },
 "category": "VALIDATION_ERROR",
 "subCategory": "ImportRequestValidatorError.INVALID_PROPERTY_NAMES"
}

I tried to check the documentation and finding the issue but without success. Here is an example of Street Address column.

Here is my json request.

Anyone has an idea ? Thanks.

Hey, @SImadEddine :waving_hand: Thanks for your question.

I’d start by double-checking all the “internal names” for the properties you are getting an error with. We can see in your first screenshot for the property “Street Address” you used:

  • “street_address” (incorrect)
  • instead of “address” (correct)

You can verify these values in-app (like your example) or by making a request to the Properties API to return all your Contact properties and search for each property’s internal value manually.

Another example:

You received an error for Postal code:

  • “postal_code” (incorrect)
  • “zip” (correct)

You’ll have to do this on your end for the custom properties that returned an error, but here are the correct values for the default HubSpot created properties that were not set correctly:

"Street Address",
 "Company Name",
 "Postal Code",
 "Phone Number",
 "Website URL",
  • Street Address = "address”
  • Postal Code = "zip”
  • Company Name = "company”
  • Phone Number = "phone”
  • Website URL = "website”

I hope this helps get you moving forward! — Jaycee

Hey @Jaycee_Lewis , yes you are alright i was using the labels as names.
Thanks.
