Should be able to bulk edit reports. For example, when we start using a different property to represent a data point, we should be able to replace a certain ‘new’ property with the ‘older’ property in all selected reports.

Yes to this. As a company matures over time, updating/auditing/culling properties is going to happen, and the need to replace those properties en masse would enable HubSpot customers to keep their data cleaner. The alternative is a manual effort that might not be prioritised because it is way to high.
As I would never see this API live ever… You could use the web API and do a find & replace in the JSON config of the report with some Javascript from the console. Define your replacements and traverse over the JSON to replace it.
But you’ll need a minimum amount of reports to have to update to make it worth the additional time for setup. Same solution can also be applied to the updating of existing views.
