Bug Fonts

I want to report, that the displayed fonts in the sequenze preview mode and the actual sent fonts can variate massively. Sometimes the fonts are bigger or smaller than shown, or the writing is in some parts grey or has different styles. And that in a single Email. That looks so unprofessional. The Sequence Tool can not been used like that.
Probably, it’s because text parts were copied from an non-Hubspot source and some parts were written in Hubspot. You should implement a feature that cleans the pasted text from styles. That would help tremendously!

Hey @JSchwarz0 two things may be at play here, one as you mentioned copying text from other sources may also copy formatting. One way to avoid this is to always “copy as plain text” or “paste and match style”.

Sequences intentionally uses plain text emails, without HTML markup (which is how styling is done in marketing emails). These are supposed to appear as “personal” plaintext emails. Because of this, it also means it’s entirely at the mercy of the receiving mail client for formatting, the same way a regular email would be. Some email clients may render text in different ways or different styling.

Thank you @TomM2 for your view on that problem.
I am quiet sure, that the source of the problem is Hubspot and not the receiving mail client, because I see the wrong formatting already in outlook at the sent Mails. I will try to Copy the text for next sequence as you said. In my experience Hubspot does not offer the possibility of “paste and match style”.
But generally, I think they should implement a mechanism to avoid that bug.

Hey @JSchwarz0 “paste and match style” is actually an operating system feature not a website one. So you can do this in HubSpot. I think windows may have a different term for it but you can still do it:

My team and I are still experiencing this today. Also, when you create a new email template, it shows it as Sans Serif. However, that is false. And when I select all text to change to Sans Serif, it doesn’t do anything. I have to select all, select a different font, then select all again, and finally when I pick Sans Serif the font changes. Seems like the email tempalte builder has quite a few issues, and worst of all we can’t send test emails to ourselves to ensure what the final email looks like.
