Regardless of whether I am tracking or not and the format bar is open or closed, the attachment appears above and I can always access.
I am using Chrome Version 136.0.7103.114 on a Mac. Do you have any updates? Are you on a Windows machine or Mac?
@Josh, I’m encountering the same problem as @BradOliver. Through a process of disabling and re-enabling each extension, I’ve identified that the HubSpot extension is responsible for the taskbar overlapping attachments. I am using Chrome Version 137.0.7151.56.
Hey @THeller & @WSS! I was able to reproduce this behavior, but only after minimizing a draft and re-opening it. Then, I was able to view the attachment after scrolling in the text area or clicking the attachment icon again. I made a quick screen recording to share.
Go full screen with the draft message and you won’t be able to scroll down/up to see the attachment. What you’ve demonstrated in the video is a workaround. But this is new behavior regarding “full-screen” draft emails. -TIM
It is still occurring here. All is fine with HS extension off, but when it is turned on, the toolbar is raised off the bottom edge of the window, which IMHO seems to be the cause of the issue.
Thanks for checking, @BradOliver! Our backend team said things should be working, so if you still see that issue, I recommend opening a support ticket for a more thorough investigation. The Support team can access your account from the backend to get a quicker resolution.
Thank you, @THeller! In this case, I made the same recommendation to open a ticket with Support. They will be able to escalate this more efficiently with the backend team!
@kennedyp Hello. Just to clarify — are you saying there’s no solution, and that minimizing and reopening draft emails will need to become a standard part of our workflow?
Hey @WSS -- to clarify, I did not see the issue until I minimized the window and reopened it, or as @THeller mentioned, in a full screen editor. Minimizing the window did not resolve it, rather it presented the issue for me. I simply wanted to provide a workaround of scrolling in the meantime!
I have reported this behavior to the team that manages the extension and will be sure to update you all here with any progress.
Hi, thanks for this, but I wouldn’t say what you are seeing replicates the issue I am encountering.
I’ve also recorded a screen capture, and you’ll see a few things…
1) The toolbar is elevated off the bottom edge of the window.
2) When an attachment is added, it appears below the toolbar, rather than above, as it should.
3) Toggling the format bar on and off hides the attachment with no way to scroll it into view.
I can confirm that this behavior does not occur when the HubSpot extension is deactivated.
This is annoying as I have de-tached and re-attached multiple times because I can’t see what I attached. I am using a PC with Google Chrome and Gmail. I will stop using Hubspot for now. When this issue is fixed, I will happily use it again.
Thank you both for following up! Thank you for your patience with this, I understand the frustration. I will be sure to keep an eye on that support ticket as well, @BradOliver.
For anyone else in the meantime, if you are unable to contact support, please be sure your extension is fully updated!
