Hi all! My name is Amanda, and I am a product manager at HubSpot. My team is currently taking over ownership of the blog product, and I am its new PM. I am excited to share that we are planning to support multiple authors for blog. This is a feature that we estimate will be widely available around INBOUND 2025. We are currently in the planning phase, and I have a few questions to help us as we build and design this feature:
- If we were to add an upper technical limit for number of authors per post, does 5 sound like enough? Or are there use cases where you anticipate needing more than 5 authors per post?
- How critical is it to be able to designate roles per authors- ex: “Amanda is the primary author” vs “Person B is the secondary author or contributor”, as opposed to the names of all authors being linked & listed without this designation?
