Hi,
I have a question on what’s best to do when you create a workflow for a custom object for example.
We want to create a workflow that will be triggered everytime there is an update / create action on the record? or set the triggers that will execute the workflow and then check the criterias? (Let’s say I have many scenarios or few).
Thanks!
Hi @OBetzalel,
I’m not sure I’m reading the exact question from your post. Are you asking whether that’s a good idea or how to do it?
It’s not not a good idea, depending on what you’d like to achieve. If you want to send notifications, trigger further updates to those records, that would be the way to go.
For the “how”, you can enroll records by looking at “Create date is known” to enroll newly created records (or “Record ID is known”). For changes to properties, simply set an enrollment trigger for “[property] is known”, then enable re-enrollment for this filter. HubSpot will then enroll the record whenever the value in that property changes.
Best regards!
@karstenkoehler Thank you for the description.
just a question - If I want to check if a record was just created + has a value inserted in a property - how can i check it with If/else branch?
Thanks!
@OBetzalel “Create date is less than 1 day ago” and “(property) is known” could be an option
@karstenkoehler Thank you so much!
