I have detected that two people have summited a form with the same email and because of the reconversion, the data os the first person doesn’t count and appears. Only if I go to the history of he contact.
Is there a way to detect an important change like a change of name or last name… or look over easily all de reconversions?
Unfortunately not, the email address is the unique identifier in HubSpot. No two contacts can exist with the same email address. HubSpot automatically deduplicates by email address and this cannot be switched off.
As far as workarounds go, you would have to manually create a second contact and manually update field values in this record. You would leave the email address field blank.
Hi @msaez ,
You are correct in hubspot email is used a unquie identifier. If a contact is filling out form again with same email email address then its latest entries will be updated on the fields.
However by clicking on the detail of the propety you can see uts historical value.
In case it could help to other people, finally I exported the submittionts from a particular form and there appear all de submittions, so I exported the file in excel and I searched the duplicated emails.
