Automatically logging activities to a Custom Object

Hi all!

We’ve recently created a Custom Object and we would like to have activities synced over (just like a company record where activities are rolled up from the associated contact records).

I’m unable to find a way to do this other than manually associating activities to the Custom Object (which is not an option).

Did anyone else find a solution to automatically log emails, tasks, meetings, notes, and calls from contacts to the associated Custom Object? If you did, please let me know! Love to know how.

Hey @TSchoorstra,

Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem possible as a forced default. I’ve successfully associated tasks to a custom object via Custom Code actions inside of a workflow, and I’m sure it would be easy to adapt that object to calls, meetings, and emails.

Is there any updates here? It would be great feature - the manual logging is labourious.
