It would be great to see a feature added to automatically end a workflow on a specific date, and not enroll new contacts, or continue actions in the workflow after that date. We offer promo’s that typically run for about a month, and use workflows to get the message out regarding the promo’s. Without manually turning off the workflow, and either deleting actions or unenrolling contacts that still have actions scheduled, contacts end up receiving emails past the date that the promo is valid. I know you can use date-centered workflows, and I will be doing this going forward, and also adding a task at the end to turn off the workflow, but this would be a valuable feature addition to have this function automate as part of the workflow.

I agree! Any updates to this almost a year later? I’d love to sync my workflow end dates with the campaigns they’re linked to or schedule a date for the workflows to end.
Agree, this would be really helpful. Currently the only way to do this is temporary by “pausing” actions in the settings. Having the workflow turn off completely on a specific date would be great.
Agree 100% this would be a huge benefit.
Agree! We create some workflows that are not supposed to last forever. Today you can pause the workflow on some dates, that would be very nice, when you create a workflow to have the possibility to schedule the shut down of the workflow.
100% agree with adding this capability. This results in less manual work when it comes to ending a workflow and allows better planning for all campaigns.
Yes, we need this to be an option when creating a blank workflow. I have used other marketing automation platforms before where you can specify the start and end date, so it must surely be possible to implement such a feature in HubSpot.
