Apps no longer working

We created apps using a developer account, and installed them into our company hubspot account.
One of our more crucial apps simply triggers a webhook to our code, and is triggered by a change of the dealStage property on a deal.
Today out of the blue the events stop coming through, in the monitoring, and users at our company are complaining that our integrations are no longer working.
We tested ourselves on a random deal, and changing this property is no longer triggering the event in our app.
If we try to see the logs in the monitoring tab of our app we see this error. Is HubSpot having issues?

Hey @ylahp , it will be hard to identify the issue without seeing the error message. Please use the dev tool in your browser and monitor the network logs before triggering the error again. You should get more info on what is the issue from the response tab of the request with an error.

Thanks for the response,
It seems we’re getting 404 errors, after clicking other logs entries that occured earlier this morning, or yesterday I am seeing information, with 200 responses.

Greetings @ylahp,

Maybe you should Verify App Permissions & OAuth Scopes. Review it and check if they changed recently or are incomplete, it can result in log access issues.

You can also go to HubSpot Status Page and look for any real-time incidents or ongoing maintenance affecting Developer Tools. If there’s an outage or maintenance, log visibility issues could be temporary and outside your control.

Also browser console can help to figure out and examine the reason for the error.

Open DevTools (F12 or right-click > Inspect > Console tab) while reproducing the error. Look for errors in the console when the log loading fails, these can show network errors, permissions problems, or failed API requests that can guide further troubleshooting.

If nothing work and the problem persists after self-troubleshooting, then you can reach the support team with all the finding and provide them with:

  • The exact error message seen in the monitoring tab
  • Any errors from your browser console
  • Details of steps you’ve already tried
  • Your app name and developer portal ID

Systematically working through these checks is the best approach to finding and fixing the logs visibility issue.

Hope this helps, if it does then help the community by marking it as a solution. Happy HubSpotting.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi @ylahp
Maybe the person who has installed the app has left the organization, and the user is removed; this will cause the API to break. There can be many other reasons, if you are still not able to find it, please contact support.

I hope this will help you out. Please mark it as Solution Accepted and upvote to help another Community member.

Thanks!

I finally got a response from support and they confirmed they were having issues with the API on friday.
