App installs limit

Hi there! I have an app integrated to HubSpot to read data, and I put it in review a few days ago. Today I logged in and it was in draft; no emails, no messages… Just in draft.

But I have seen my app is limited to 25 oauth installs, and I have actual clients using it.

Is there anything I can do?

Thank you so much!

Hi @guinery

Here’s what you can do: reach out to HubSpot support directly or the HubSpot Ecosystem Quality team (who reviews app listings and certification submissions, and they’ll follow up by email during the review process) and ask why your listing went back to Draft. They don’t always send an email, but they’ll tell you the exact reason if you ask. Also worth checking all the links in your listing (privacy policy, support page, install link) since a broken or unreachable link is a common reason listings get sent back. As for the 25 install limit, that won’t go away until the listing is approved. HubSpot doesn’t make exceptions for it, but once it’s approved, the limit is removed automatically.

I hope this helps you out. Please mark it as Solution Accepted and upvote to help another Community member.

Thanks!

Hi @guinery and welcome, we are so glad you are here!

Great question, thanks for asking!

To add to what @GRajput shared (thank you!), when apps are created or moved to the new Developer Platform (v2025.2+), they are indeed capped at 25 installs before they’re approved for a Marketplace listing.

Here are some resources for more information:

I hope this helps!
