API Product Lifecycle

Does anyone know if HubSpot publishes product lifecycle information for their APIs? We’re currently using v3 (via the official HubSpot NodeJS library) but the question came up the other day around how long v3 will be supported? Is v4 officially out? Etc.

Some Googling/search the docs didn’t yield much helpful information on this so any help here would be much appreciated.

They don’t provide a detailed public roadmap or specific timelines for API version updates and deprecations. However, they are committed to notifying users well in advance of any breaking changes or deprecations. For instance, when deprecating the v2 Owners API, HubSpot provided a sunset notice several months ahead of the August 30, 2024 deprecation date.
As of now, there is no official v4 of the HubSpot API. The v3 API is the latest stable version and is generally available for use.

Hi @tarh33l

There is no such description as of now and as you are using V3 version, I belive they will last long. If HubSpot decides to deprecate any API they will circulatye the msg and will give yoou ample amount of time to modify your code.

Thanks!
