We need the ability to use an API only account to integrate Hubspot with Salesforce. This is necessary for security purposes and is best practice for any integration. We don’t give out “modify all data” premission to end users and it’s inappropriate for the integration to be set up under one of the admin accounts, making it look like the system admin is creating records. I’m very surprised that Hubspot doesn’t support this!
This is a definite requirement now, considering that Salesforce are moving to Muti-Factor Authentication in February 2022.
