In my current project for lead generation we are using meta and google ads. So in workflow which trigger action should I include so that I can enroll the contacts in a workflow.
Here I have two scenario,
Meta Ads - I want to enroll new contacts in a workflow whenever acquired through lead generation campaign. Another use case is there happens existing contact records fills out native Facebook forms so I want to make sure those existing records also gets enrolled into the workflow based on which some fields will update for such records.
Would like to know the best practices do the same and which trigger should I use. There are multiple meta native forms.
Hi @ajinkyamurtey,
Great question, thanks for asking the Community!
First, I’d like to share these resources that might be of interest:
- Use automation with HubSpot’s ads tool
- Sync leads from your lead ad forms to HubSpot
- Facebook lead ads | Frequently Asked Questions
I also wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation: Hi @danmoyle, @CHawkins and @deepikaverma do you have best practices to share with @ajinkyamurtey, please?
If anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation
Thank you very much
and have a fantastic day!
Best,

I second these recommendations from @BérangèreL here, @ajinkyamurtey.
The triggers you can set up in HubSpot are vast. From which forms they fill out, to which assets they download on your website, to which website pages they view and more, the world is your oyster when it comes to triggering workflows from your lead gen efforts.
My biggest best practice is to measure the buyer’s journey. Between the HubSpot persona and lifecycle stage properties, you’ll be able to segment the audience and where they are in the journey, and build contextual campaigns in your workflows. So be sure to map this out.
