Adding subject and preview text to email templates

Hi Community!

I would like to be able to save the subject and preview text in the Marketing email templates. My company is sending out regular emails containing similar messages, and it will be much more efficient if we could simply edit a few words in the subject and preview text after applying the templates.
Please share if there is a work-around !

Thank you for raising this! We too send out regular emails and our subject and preview text don’t change, so it’s a pain to type it in each time, especially as we have some personalised fields in there. As a work around we can clone the email and send that, and cloning does remember the subject and preview text, but it would be great if it pulled through the subject and preview text by default and then you can edit it as necessary. Thanks.

+1! In the Preview of saved marketing email templates, we can see that the subject line is always “Special offer”, and there isn’t a way to apply a default subject line for the template. Hoping to see this feature soon!

I understand the development window for things such as this can sometimes be pushed back due to other priorities, but this idea was requested and shelved back in 2019 and has not seen the light of day since.

Unless the team can tell us if a way exists now, which I have not been able to find.

Thank you for submitting this idea! It would be super helpful and I really hope they fix it soon.
