As a developer, my role is to build the structure of a website to make it easy for both customers and the content team to navigate and use the site. This feature would benefit the content team the most and also save developers time as the current work around we are using is slow and tedious.
Currently, to give a module a preview image we must make every module into a section on a 1 to 1 ratio to allow an image to be displayed giving the content team a fair idea of what they are looking for.
It would be a very simple addition that would save developers a lot of time and also make adding content a simpler and easier process. At the moment if a member of the content team are looking to add a module they may have to scoll down a list of a hundred modules to find what they are looking for, even if they are named well and you know which name you’re looking for it still is unnecessarily menial.
An addition to give a visual representation of each module would be of great benefit, especially seen as though the feature already exists for sections.
Please give this post an upvote if you have encountered the same issue or even if you think it would improve the site in general.
Thank you for taking the time to read this,
Sam.
I second this, it would greatly improve the user experience if developers were able to provide previews for modules and not just sections.
This feature would be greatly appreciated by developers and content editors.
This is a must have, it would really eliminate the need to place in modules by trial and error until you find the right fit.
