I was very excited to see that we can now create custom properties for leads. This will make it much easier for us to create forms that generate leads. However, Leads is not an object available for use in forms under Existing Properties. It would be fantastic if it could be added. Right now, the only options are Frequently Used Properties, Other form elements, Payment, Contact Properties, Company Properties and Ticket Properties.
I found that you can add a Lead Property to the form if you “Create New”, but once those properties are created, we will still need to add them to other forms.
Surprised to find this limitation as well, this is causing redundant contact properties and unneeded copy workflows, Hubspot please open lead properties for usage on forms.
We absolutely need this. We auto create Leads for the majority of our forms. The volume of effort it takes to get “Lead” properties copied over to Leads is exhausting and cumbersome. HubSpot please make this a priority.
