Adding custom form fields to form builder in Hubspot

I have a question regarding form builder in hubspot.

Is there any way to add some custom input fields to the existing 12 that are in Hubspot form builder?
Our company wants to add a survey slider (<input type=“range”>) to the form, but I can’t find a solution to implement it. As far as I understand even non-hubspot forms can’t have custom input fields.
Maybe there is a way to create a module in hubspot with fully custom markup and add a hubspot endpoint to form action attribute? In API docs it says that the fields should correspond to contact properties set up for the HubSpot account, so I think it’s not possible then?

You are correct about the limitations around property field types in non-HubSpot forms as well.
