When using ‘create tasks’ from the contact page it currently only gives the option to assign to a specific user.
It would be great if you could select ‘contact owner’ rather than a specific user. Currently I need to do a duplicate batch of tasks for each owner, and tasks I create are almost always for the contacts owner rather than a specific person.
I second this. I need to create tasks for our sales reps for specific lists, however I am unable to select the Contact owner. Same with when I enrol into a task based sequence, it assigns the tasks to me, rather than the Contact owner.
This is a really essential function - if you want the company or contact owner to follow up a campaign, you have to manually select the individual’s name. You should be able to set the task owner as the company/contact owner.
