Currently there is no ability on the IOS mobile app to upload or view attachments. At this time, it appears we are only able to upload images via the mobile app in notes activities. PDF/other documents aren’t yet supported. We run a construction company with dozens superintendents, sales reps, project managers and project formans on the field. The inability to view attachments is a major crutch right now.
Yes it is very important for us as well and what be a huge help to upload files as PDF.

This is desperately needed for all sales reps on the road!
We desperately need this too. This seems like a no-brainer and we were surprised it’s missing
Absolutley need this. With mobile being so common on the go, it would be ideal to be able to view attachments in the IOS app on the “About Deal” section for quick and easy access.
We have the same need! Our technicians and service personell need to see images on the field. They don’t need to be automatically downloaded to the record, but could be downloaded when you click on them. That would save space and data needs but would be essential.
This is a crucial feature for us and our colleagues on the road
Hi there,
I wanted to let you know that this feature is not being worked on yet, but it’s high up on our priority list. I’ll give you an update when we have more to share about the timeline.
Thank you for letting me know that it is not being worked on yet but highly
on the priority list. We are anxious to see it work sometime in the
near future!
Thanks for the update @GayaJolitz, but its concerning that its been a known issue for almost a year now. Its something that works fine on your Android app but of course we’ve standardized on Apple iOS devices as I’m sure many business have. I would encourgae your product managers to escalate and expedite this with your app development team, it’s not a big lift.
CAn’t wait for this to be updated. Currently we Event Hapily to create Event records for our tradeshows and we upload our booth map and other relevant details for our team as attahments but they are not accessible via app and so we are also uploading them as notes so that they can be easily found using the app. It’s very redundant.
This is a pretty crucial thing. I need it to find information about deals quickly without having to sort through tons of files or emails. Why isn’t it already available? That seems pretty nonsensical that a basic feature isn’t usable on the app.
+1 to this
Upvoting again because our teams are reaching a breakign point in adoption that affects our data integrity.
This is essential for our business also. We are 6 months into our HubSpot implementation, if we new this function was not available we would have reconsidered. We have staff on the road who need access to files/ documents at all hours. The centralisation of informaiton into HubSpot was supposed to improve efficiency, and this is essential. We had not even considered that this would be an issues.
This should be an essential feature for the moblie app. As the mobile app is used primiarly by Sales Reps, it is a very limiting that they are unable to access documents attached to deals or other records on-the-go. This has been a huge blocker for getting our reps to use HubSpot when they’re out in the field. This has negativiely effected out impletentation with the sale team, as a great app to their CRM is available but the necessary features they would need are not.
“Viewing photos uploaded in note comments, as well as opening those image links in the mobile app, is not currently supported in the same way as in the desktop experience.” is what I received from a Hubspot agent and I saw that this issue had been brought up by another user in 2020. It would be very helpful if this could be added in the mobile app for companies that do a lot of on field work.
