[Now Live] Video Module in Email

What is it?

A video module in the drag and drop email builder.

Using this module, you can add videos to your email and customize the video format for a tailored, branded experience.

Why does it matter?

Before this update, there was no easy way to use videos in the drag and drop email editor. With the new default video module, you can seamlessly leverage customized, on-brand video across your content.

How does it work?

In the content editor, you'll see a video module listed alongside the other "Common modules" under the "Add" tab. Drag and drop this module into your email.

Use the left panel to select the type of video you want to embed on the page. You can select a video from the files tool, insert a video URL, or enter an embed code. Depending on the type of video used, you'll be able to customize your thumbnail, player color, and player button color. HubSpot Video customers have the ability to add Forms & CTAs.

Because email clients don't support video playing, this module will automatically place a thumbnail in your email. When clicked, the thumbnail will open a landing page to play the video.

See this walkthrough video below, or learn more with this knowledge base article.

{% video_player "embed_player" overrideable=False, type='scriptV4', hide_playlist=True, viral_sharing=False, embed_button=False, autoplay=False, hidden_controls=False, loop=False, muted=False, full_width=False, width='1046', height='720', player_id='38370688596', style='' %}

Who gets it?

The video module is available to all customers. All customers can place video in emails using URLs or embed code. Only customers with HubSpot Video (Marketing Hub Pro & Enterprise, CMS Hub Pro & Enterprise, and Service Hub Pro & Enterprise) can use video files hosted with HubSpot.
