What is it? HubSpot Projects users, with overdue tasks, will now receive an email each morning at 7am (based on portal timezone) letting them know which tasks are overdue. Individual users will only receive an email if the overdue task is assigned to them. The email will send everyday, continuously, until the task is checked off or the due date is changed.
Projects users who see the most value from the tool usually start their day with Projects. They look at Projects to prioritize and plan their work for the day. This behavior helps keep them on track, and projects on time. The daily overdue tasks email is a gentle reminder that they have some tasks that need attention. It also encourages them to address and not ignore overdue tasks. They can do this by either completing the task or changing the due date.
Who gets it: All HubSpot customers using Projects and have at least one overdue task.
Can a customer opt out of the daily emails?
Yes, but they can only opt out of all Projects communication. We are actively working on communication settings option to make adjustments to Projects communications.
Moving the due date of a task or checking it off will also stop the emails.
