Set default Call type for calls

Hi,

It would be great if an admin or individual users could set a default Call type for all calls. It's extra manual work e.g. for a sales representative to choose the Call type 'Sales' for a sales call every time they call. Instead, a default Call type could be set as 'Sales' and if they were to make another type of a call, they would choose that instead.

Thanks.

I agree. It would save us a lot of time. Have you found a solution to this?

Hi team! As a support specialist - I know customers would be glad to have this option. Allowing the feature to select default call outcomes, and types, would be highly beneficial. Thank you! 🙂

absolutely, I'm calling the person a couple of times a day/week so either:

  • let us create templates (i.e. not answered sales call (all fields pre-filled) to mark it at the time it is logged)
  • or let us duplicate already existing calls if I logged once, I could just duplicate the previous one the next times

so I don't need to pick every time

  • call outcome, type, direction...

this is the very basic thing to improve, please prioritize this, after 2 years nothing seems to have changed!

This would be a great feature - particularly if we could set up a default call type by a user permission set. Otherwise it's difficult to have sales reps complete this accurately for every call they make.

Would be a great time saver, really needed!

This would be amazing, especially if you could set a default call type per type of user, so that sales defaults to a sales call, onboarding defaults to their call type, and support... so forth and so on. 🙂
