Creating a Custom Footer with HTML/CSS

I’m looking to create a custom footer using HTML and CSS. I’ve found a little bit of information about this, but nowhere do I see anything about how to include images in my custom HTML. I know how to write the HTML code, but where should the actual images be placed that are referenced in the code? Should I just put them on our own website and reference them in the code there? Or is there a place to upload them to HubSpot and reference them from? Thanks for any guidance.

Hello @SteveWilkison ,

You can host the images for your custom footer in two ways:

  1. Host the images on your own website and reference them in your HTML code using a full URL, for example: <img src="https://www.yourwebsite.com/images/yourimage.png" alt="Your Image">
  2. Upload the images to HubSpot’s File Manager and reference them in your HTML code using a relative URL, for example: <img src="//www.hubspot.com/hs-fs/hubfs/yourimage.png" alt="Your Image">. Note the // at the beginning of the URL, which allows HubSpot to dynamically switch between HTTP and HTTPS as needed.

In both cases, make sure to optimize the images for web use, as large images can slow down the load time of your pages.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you
