I am new to SEO and looking for ways to increase my client base for my Holistic Lifecoaching business. What are the ways I can generate traffic? Thanks in advance.
It's always great seeing others utilize SEO to grow their business! It's truly one of the best ways to bring in new customers and expand your brand.
As an SEO myself (with my own company), here's a quick checklist of to-do items that can help you get started with SEO for your company:
Build out your core pages - home, about, service(s), contact
Make sure your service page(s) contain the benefits, selling points, social proof/testimonials, and a call-to-action
Use keyword research to find terms that will bring in your ideal customers
Ensure your website is technically sound and loads relatively fast
Create supporting blog content that solves problems, showcases your expertise, and leads readers to your conversion pages
If you have an SEO tool (like SEMrush or Ahrefs) you can find long-tail keywords that are easier to rank for and help compound your rankings and traffic
Promote yourself on social media and direct your followers to the website
Collect emails from your website - contact forms, newsletters, eBooks, etc... Send promotional emails to these subscribers
Connect with others in your industry or related industry to share guest posts and link-building opportunities
Answer questions on HARO that relate to your business and industry, this can lead to links and mentions from big-name websites or publications
Appear on podcasts or interviews, they typically provide a link to their guests
Continually monitor your rankings for core keywords and how you stack up against your competitors
This is just a rough checklist to help use SEO for your business.
But, to sum it up, make sure your website is able to be indexed by Google, loads fast, provides a great user experience, and contains expert-written content.
