Our website is hosted by Wordpress, and we use Gravity Forms. These forms are linked to Hubspot. When a form is completed on the website, we have set it up so that we can an email notification.
For the most part, this works well.
However, we have noticed that occasionally a new contact will appear in Hubspot, and in the contact record we can see that they have filled in and submitted a form via our website, however there was no email notofication and there is no record of them in Gravity Forms.
Has anyone experiences this issue? Or any ideas on how to fix?
Hello @JHagen9
This occurs maybe because of a conflict between Gravity forms & HubSpot plugin. Try disabling other plugins to see if that resolves the issue.
Hi,
It seems your system is having a problem where contacts are showing up in Hubspot without corresponding records in Gravity Forms. To fix this, first, keep an eye on Gravity Forms entries to ensure all submissions are recorded accurately. Then, double-check your email settings in Gravity Forms, making sure they’re set up correctly.
Next, check the integration settings between Gravity Forms and Hubspot to ensure they’re active and working properly. Watch out for any errors or delays in transferring data between the two platforms, which could be caused by server issues or connectivity problems.
Also, make sure all your plugins, including Gravity Forms and related integrations, are updated and compatible with each other and your WordPress setup.
If the issue persists, don’t hesitate to contact support for Gravity Forms, Hubspot, or your hosting provider. They might have specific solutions for your situation. Following these steps should help you figure out why contacts aren’t showing up in Gravity Forms despite being in Hubspot.
Are you using the “HubSpot All-In-One Marketing - Forms, Popups, Live Chat” plug-in?
If thats the case, I believe the form will submit to hubspot once the user hits the submit button. If you have required fields on your form, it will submit to hubspt even if they don’t have all the fields filled out (I think as long as the email field has a value).
So maybe thats whats happening - they’re not completely filling out the form so when they hit submit it’s not going to gravity forms but still to hubspot.
