RingCentral Integration to Mobile App

Hi @PHA_iPadag

You’re right that today the RingCentral + HubSpot combo is strongest on desktop.

On mobile, HubSpot only auto-logs calls if reps use HubSpot’s native numbers/calling minutes. Forwarding from RingCentral to a regular phone dialer won’t be detected, so nothing lands in the timeline automatically.

(Make calls in the HubSpot browser )

The two workarounds people usually try: either train reps to take calls in the RingCentral mobile app (so at least some call activity can sync), or have them log calls after the fact in HubSpot Mobile. Neither is perfect, but it’s the only way to preserve some call history until HubSpot or RingCentral expands their mobile support.

If you’re testing HubSpot’s own calling minutes, it might be worth doing a quick pilot with your field team. It simplifies logging since everything stays in the HubSpot app, though of course it comes with its own per minute costs.

Side note: some teams also layer in a sync tool when they’ve got multiple call sources or CRMs floating around. Platforms like Stacksync help because they capture activity in real-time from different systems and push it into HubSpot automatically, which reduces the “did we remember to log that call?” problem across reps.

Hope this helps.
