I totally agree, I need this to set up the CRM for easier use for everyone, and so that everyone will work with the same terms. You would think, if they can build in the first step, they can make it dependent to multiple ones.

Trying to add a dependent field if someone enters a non-business email address into the email field. I want to add multiple conditions (yahoo/gmail/hotmail/etc) but can only add one of those.
Totally agree!
We’d also like for rich text areas to be dependent too, so if someone clicks a multiple choice option, for example, it can display a panel with further information.
Please add this feature!
Is there any update on this, almost 3 years from the original request?
Agree. We’d like to add a pop-up if a contact adds an email with gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc. - to request they enter a business email address if they have one. We tried to use logic to create a text field - but you can only select one option for “contains” rendering that useless for our goal.
Hey there!
Please refer to this idea that has more votes!

Hi team! This feature would be really helpful. For example, I would like to collect email addresses differently depending on whether a contact selects a criteria.
On the same form:
Contact would select Criteria A or B.
- If criteria A is met > the email field would not block free email providers.
- If criteria B > the email field would block free email providers.
The only way to do this would be to separate the forms at the moment. ![]()
Yes please!
Yes, please please please implement this feature!
Really need this feature as well its too basic right now
Would love to create a dependent field off a dependent field.
Example:
Are you attending Yes or No.
If you say Yes, then Guest Attending Yes or No will populate.
If you say No, you can submit.
Then if Guest Attending is Yes, what is their First name, Last name will populate.
This would be a huge help for a large portion of what our clients need for their registration landing pages.
I really need this feature, it’d solve soooo many issues.
Any news about the implementation of this feature HubSpot please?
Any progress on this yet?
Me too!!
We really need this feature!
Currently we use embedded Cognito Forms which is far from ideal.
Would make forms shorter and tidy if when a contact select the preferred communication just shows the fields required instead of having all the fields and had to make them optional instead. Other systems allow it is time to Hubspot upgrade their game
It would be nice to have the ability to add a dependent field in a form to another dependent field. Therefore the third question in a form is not dependent on the first question; it is dependent on the second (which in itself is a dependent field)
For example, we’d like to be able to qualify our customers in this format:
1. Ask: Do you run a business?
A. Answers Yes - ask “In what industry?”
aa. Answers Transportation - ask “What is your fleet size?”
aaa. Answers 1-5 trucks - leave message “Sorry, weare not able to help at this time.”
bbb. Answers 50-100 trucks - give them an option to fill out more information (name and phone number) to get started
B. Answers No - leave the message “Sorry, we only only work with business owners at this time.”
Apart from having multilevel depedent fields, it would be great to have the option to make them optional/ required as well as hidden in case you want to use them for internal purposes. For example, in my form I am asking for the country and based on that a state selection shows. For internal use it would be extremely helpful to be able to create another hidden dependent field which will match the state with a “reporting zone”. I could use a workflow workaround for this, but it’s unconvient.
Also, unlike in my specific case where I need the extra dependency for internal purposes, there are many scenarios when multilevel dependent fields are needed on the customer side as well as on the company side in order to better fit both needs.
