+1 for this feature. As CDow mentioned, this change is trivial especially for the benefits of the end result. This should be a basic configuration and setting.

+1 Upvote → Yes, we also need more “restrictions” for the upload as some users feel so encoureged by this feature so they make uploads of 30 images… There shoould be a number / amount of files and data in the setup to choose from…

Seemingly crickets from Hubspot on this…we’ve never wanted to allow file upload until now…and find we are hit with a basic security issues which is years outstanding…
This is a critical issue from a security perspective. We have seen users uploading scripts and malware through our form. This is a basic functionality that the majority of the tool has already. Please plan this enhancement as soon as possible: it doesn’t make any sense talking about AI without this basic stuff implemented

Has anyone found a workaround with a third-party form provider that allows you to restrict the file types uploaded?
@adamhopkins, you can also create custom coded forms within HubSpot directly. This will require developer intervention, or knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS.

Being able to choose and lock the file type a form can accept is a feature I am surprised HS has not enabled yet. As a liaison between customer and agent our time is being inefficiently spent re-formatting files to upload to agent portals with file type restrictions. Manually re-formatting a file or reaching back out to a customer requesting they re-send their original file in PDF format adds to a task’s turnaround time, sometimes hindering the customer experience and increasing our workload.
+1 - This needs to be a native Solution in times of cyber security.
I totally agree that a restriction of a file type would be helpful. We receive a lot of images instead of videos. So a lot of unuseful content …
