Welcome to the Community - introduce yourself!
Hi 👋
Welcome to the HubSpot community! We are thrilled to have you here!❤️
We want you to know that this community has been created with you in mind to build professional connections, explore new ideas, access video tutorials, discover alternative solutions, and stay updated on events, product updates, and much more. 🎉
The best way to start is by learning about our community and how to participate in forums and events. You can also explore how to rank up in the community with our gamification model - but one step at a time, right? 😁
We've prepared these guides to help you get started on your HubSpot community member journey. Please take a moment to review these tips below.
The HubSpot community is mainly dedicated to all things related to HubSpot products. However, if you're looking to connect with professionals from other areas, like founders, marketers, and more, the best place to go is connect.com. There, you’ll find events for these groups and plenty of opportunities to network with people in your field.
We can't say this enough, but we are thrilled that you have joined this space, and we look forward to seeing you in the forums.
I would say KB with video content (which I see you already do) and using the CS Surveys from HS - NPS, CSAT etc. We use this kind of suveys for our clients so we can identify the promoters and to create dedicated campaigns for them (education/refferal etc.) to keep them engaged with the help of marketing dep. (exclusive webinars, events invitations, other dedicated educational materials, templates that can use within their company - based on their pain points).
Also, based on your startegy & objectives, you can use Workflows to create some ongoing customer nurturing campaigns - works great for engagement, renewal, upsell/crossell.
Hope these ideas will help. If you need to discuss more about one topic or another, let me know. I'll be happy to help.
Looking forward to learning about SEO marketing for my newly opened media agency where I help women entrepreneurs grow their businesses with digital advertising.
I hope you are all safe and well, everything considered.
I'm Jacob and I currently live and work in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. I currently work in Client Relations and have been appointed to lead the Marketing Initiatives for the organization I work for. Which is a Facilities and Hospitality Management company that operates both short and long-term serviced staff accommodations. We provide a broad range of facilities and value-added services to a range of clients in multiple industries.
I was looking for organizations that specialized in marketing courses and decided to try Hubspot academy because I also need to create a
Marketing plan, Strategy, and framework and I figured the best way to do that was to upskill. So, here I am.😁
So guys, if you have any thoughts or feedback for me as a "Starter" please let me know....!!!
One more thing:
How helpful do you find the Content Marketing Course here?
Sorry I'm a little late to the party, thanks for the invite @kvlschaefer!
It looks like you've already gotten some good advice from @danmoyle and @JenBergren, if there is anything I can share that might be helpful is that you're definitely in the right place.
I transitioned my career from architecture to multi-media design to marketing, but it wasn't until I found HubSpot in 2016 that I had a holistic view of marketing as it relates to sales, ops, etc.
With HubSpot Academy, you can grow your knowledge beyond marketing and gain insights that help you drive the right strategy forward.
Smarketing (sales and marketing working together) is a game-changer for your organization - aligning sales and marketing is one of the super powers you'll find in HubSpot and there are so many courses and resources to help you learn all about it - without getting another degree.
Best of luck with your journey, we're here to help if you run into more questions!
If my reply answered your question please mark it as a solution to make it easier for others to find.
Hi @JacobRoy ! Dan and Kristen have great advice! There are several Academy certifications related to marketing that would be helpful. An easy way to see certifications vs individual courses is to look in the My Team tab at the top of the HubSpot Academy screen, you can hover over each badge and click through to take the course.
I'm having an issue with my internet service provider blocking the badge images (and the study guides, randomly), but it will look something like this:
First, well done on leaning on the community for help. That's the first step, and one not everyone takes. So I want to give kudos there.
Next, the course is very good. There's also a course on Inbound (the strategy) and one on email marketing, which helps with nurturing once you've captured attention. I'm a little biased, but I think the more HubSpot certs you can get, the better. Big fan, myself.
I'm sure you'll get other recommendations here. And any time you're working on that marketing and find you want to brainstorm, this Community is where it's at!
Did my answer help? Please "mark as a solution" to help others find answers. Plus I really appreciate it!
The Content Marketing Certification is a great course for marketing professionals and career starters alike. I've taken it twice to refresh my content marketing skills and learn about new trends. I would highly recommend taking it if you're looking to upskill in content creation for blogs, white papers, social media etc. 🙂
We also have a Content Marketing Study Group where you can reach out to others who have taken this course to get their input as well! This study group is associated with the course, so if you're up to the challenge, you can take the course and participate in the group!
I would also like to invite our subject matter experts to this conversation to see if they have any wisdom they would like to share.
