LinkedIn 'job-listings@linkedin.com' won't appear in the HubSpot inbox

Hi everyone,

 

I'm having some issues with my HubSpot emails, particularly with LinkedIn Job Listings. Despite receiving responses in my Mac mail and Outlook, I am not seeing these emails in my HubSpot Inbox. It's frustrating, especially when you've been using automation platforms for over a decade and a HubSpoter since its inception. 

 

I know, I can easily spin up an instance of open source platform and respond to these 500+ emails but, my concern is that it won't appear right especially when you are trying to build a community around HubSpot and hiring team members to promote it. 

 

I've tried troubleshooting by allowing the email address and creating a new email ID in GSuite, but I still haven't found a solution. I also raised a support ticket three days ago, but I haven't received a response yet. Therefore, I'm reaching out to the HubSpot community to see if anyone has experienced a similar problem and found a solution. Specifically, I'm wondering if anyone has encountered a situation where candidate emails from LinkedIn 'job-listings@linkedin.com do not show up in the HubSpot inbox. I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice on this issue.

Hi @Parvind,

 

It sounds like the emails may land in the spam folder. HubSpot marks some emails as spam by default:

I'd assume that your job listing emails have an unsubscribe link and fall into the last category?

 

Can you check the left sidebar of your conversations inbox for the spam folder and whether the emails are in there?

 

If so, can you please review these settings? https://knowledge.hubspot.com/conversations/manage-your-inbox-s-allow-and-deny-list – when you say "allowing email address", is this what you did? Please try

  1. marking the sender as not spam directly in the inbox,
  2. explicitly adding the email address to the allowlist,
  3. unchecking the last box
