Message not delivered

SOLVE

I am testing Hubspot to send emails.

 

I can send email to myself, but when send emails to outside emails, it says "message not delivered". I can not find any further information on why. How can I resolve this issue?

 

Could it because that I am using free version?

Hi @rob_jiang 

 

When you send a test email to yourself from hubSpot it will send from no-reply@hubspot.com (because if HubSpot sent an email to you, from you, it would end up in spam).

 

We typically use a few test email addresses for sending email, do you have another email address you could use?

 

Tip: if you have a Gmail address you can add "+test123" to your email address and HubSpot thinks it's a new address e.g. myemail+test123@gmail.com will be delivered to myemail@gmail.com

 

Also, you can check your email setup using MX Toolbox, it's worth checking your email isn't on any block lists.

Which type of emails are you trying to send, please? Sales emails or Marketing emails?
Are you trying to send the email to a contact added on your HubSpot account?
Could you please share a screenshot of the error message you are seeing?

The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.
