I don't have personal experience with enabling this feature while syncing a webinar over to Zoom, but perhaps you could set up a test zoom with this disabled setting to see if HubSpot fails to get the attendance data.
I also wanted to share the link to the Zoom Community to see if anyone has asked about this there as well!
