New Shopify Integration Missing Location Field Mapping

SOLVE

Context: Shopify is deprecating some API calls, prompting HubSpot to update its Shopify integration plugin.

Problem: The new integration no longer includes a mapping option for the Location field, which was available in the original integration. Even with the Operations Hub Starter plan (which allows for additional field mappings), the Location field mapping is still unavailable.

Question: How can I map the Location field for Shopify to the property field in HubSpot?

New Shopify Integration Missing Location Field Mapping

Hi @CDeMares,

Thank you for your question! Here are two possible ways you can sync
Shopify location data with HubSpot:

1) If you're on
Shopify Plus, you can easily add custom fields (such as location) to your checkout page. Once added, you can use an integration app to sync these fields with HubSpot, mapping them to a custom property like “Shopify Location.” This method is straightforward and works seamlessly with Shopify Plus.

2) If you’re not on Shopify Plus, you can still possibly sync location data by creating a custom property in
HubSpot (e.g., "Shopify Location") and using HubSpot Operations Hub to set up a data sync. After syncing, you can create a workflow to automatically map and update the location data in HubSpot. This approach is flexible and works for any Shopify plan.

Both methods will help you keep your location data in HubSpot up-to-date. If you have any questions or need help with setup, feel free to ask!
