Set up a dependent field logic that allows a field to evaluate multiple variables in a statement would be a valuable addition to forms.
When working on a form, if you need to ensure a field (e.g.email) is entered fully so other form fields can populate, you can use dependent fields to set up a logic that checks for it. However, multiple can't be added in the same statement, for example:
When using the email property, trying to add more than one requirement to the logic
- Existing...email contains ".com" show lead status
- NEW...email contacts ".org" show lead status
You'll get an error message telling you it's not possible to reference "LEAD STATUS" twice.
Allowing for this feature to include multiple conditionals would make the dependent field logic better, more specific and flexible.
We have the same issue. There are multiple domains that I want to show a dependent field. Am I not able to add multiple conditions separated by commas or semicolons?
Example
If email CONTAINS
domain1, domain2
OR
If email CONTAINS domain1; domain2
