I am relatively new to HubSpot and my company did not have a robust system/process in place when I joined, so I am working through the system and creating strong reporting tools. I am realizing there are some inconsistencies in our data and the reason is because I have converted leads to MQLs and then back to leads solely because the definition in our internal process has changed. Because of this, now my MQL number in YTD reporting is vastly larger than it actually is because those MQLs that were converted back to leads still have the historical MQL data attached to them. I reached out to support to see if there was a way to detach that historical MQL data but they said there wasn't a way. Is/has anyone else experienced something like this and is there a solution?
