Contacts often don't sign-up immediately when they receive an invite to a portal.
Currently, you can only individually send emails to members who have not yet registered, and you cannot send registration links via standard marketing emails.
With large member portals, there can be thousands of users - this is not a scalable solution.
Ideally there would be a token that you can include in a standard marketing email so you can automate membership invitation reminders.
Agreed, we are having major problems with community members missing the initial registration email, with some advising they didn't receive it. As a small start-up, we don't have the resources to manually manage registration issues on a 121 basis. We love the feature to restrict page content and associate that with lists, but the admin of this hasn't been thought through. With over 200K members in our community, there is no way we can manage this manually.
