Content Assistant driving me crazy!!

SOLVE

I cant figure out how to get the reply message in conversations to allow an Ai rewrite. I read the support docs and also watched the videos. It says we are supposed to be able to highlight the text in the reply to conversation field and a lightening bolt will show up and you click and it will say rewrite.. 

 

This is driving me crazy!! somebody please help!!!

Hey @MBurack, thanks for reaching out!

 

What exactly is giving you trouble and not working as expected? Are you able to share any screenshots?

 

The content assistant is still in beta, so make sure that you follow the instructions in this HubSpot Knowledge Base article to toggle the content assistant if you haven't already.

 

If you have the content assistant enabled and are able to use it in other HubSpot assets (i.e., email and landing pages) but not the conversations inbox, that functionality is likely coming to your portal soon. I believe that HubSpot has been slowly adding this functionality across portals, so defintiely check to see if it's accessible in other tools. It's not ideal, but you could use the content assistant within an email or landing page to write your responses for use in the conversation inbox.

 

You can always reach out to your HubSpot representative as well to confirm your beta access. Just bear in mind that this feature is still in beta and will take time to finalize for the full release.

Content Assistant driving me crazy!!

So it for sure is turned on. I could not get it to work in Conversations or in contacts when sending an email to a customer in their contact sccreen. 

 

I was able to pull up a template and get it to work there. I guess its just fully functional at this time.

After you have joined the Beta in the Updates section of the main menu, you will notice a highlighted orange thunder icon button in the reply textbox of the conversation inbox:
