Will Hubspot let you have 2 different Company/Contact/Deal pages?

SOLVE

Hi! 

 

My company is new to Hubspot and we have 2 lines of business (education and healthcare) that require different properties on the company/contact/deal records. Is there a way to have 2 separate instances in hubspot that can allow us to have a education instance and a healthcare instance? Or, can you create to different Company/contact/deals pages that we can customize each to fit the 2 business segment's needs? Not sure on hubspot best practices so would love any and all advice/recommendations.

Hi @CMattison,

 

You can display sections in the left sidebar based on certain properties, depending on the object:

  • Contacts: Lifecycle stage and Lead status.
  • Companies: Lifecycle stage and Industry.
  • Deals: Deal stage and Deal pipeline.
  • Tickets: Ticket status and Ticket pipeline.

 

For Contacts, you might have to "misuse" and customize the Lead status field to reflect your lines of business.

 

You can find these settings under Settings > Properties > tab Records customization:
