Earth Day is an annual event that occurs on April 22nd. It marks the anniversary of the modern environmental movement that started in 1970. In 1990, the day went global. Today, Earth Day includes a vast range of globally coordinated events including 1 billion people in over 193 countries.
This year's theme is #InvestInOurPlanet
This year, HubSpot is joining the global effort to learn and act to invest in our planet. Through our Growing Greener Challenge, I am doing my part to reduce my environmental impact by supporting local businesses, driving less, eating more fruits and vegetables, recycling responsibly, and being more conscious of my purchases.
