New feature: Workflow Extensions

What's happening?

Today we're announcing the release of the Workflow Extensions API. Workflow extensions allow your app to create custom actions for workflows that users can add to any workflows they build in HubSpot. These custom actions can allow for configuration by the user, allowing custom fields to be set when the action is added to a workflow. When the action is triggered by a workflow, HubSpot will send an HTTP request to your system. This request would include any custom fields that get configured by the user, and would also include any contact properties that you configure for the contact record going through the workflow.

More details for using Workflow extensions, and setting them up for your app, can be found in the overview documentation.

What's changing?

This is a new feature available for any HubSpot app. Any custom actions that are created for your app will be immediately available for any HubSpot accounts that have your app installed.

When is this happening?

This new feature is available today to all HubSpot apps, and available for any HubSpot accounts that have access to workflows.
