In order for people to be subscribed automatically into SMS texting they have to format their phone number in this specific way: +1 (555) 555-5555. I don't know anyone who includes the country code before their phone number when they fill out a form read more

Yes, I agree. I also felt duped and have since canceled the SMS add-on. We have the Ops Hub but have not found the work around.

Is there a way to add a format workflow to automatically convert a phone number to add a country code? I use Hubspot to call a lot but our third party systems only collect the phone number without country code, which Hubspot requires to validate it read more
