I started tinkering with HTML in college when web pages were gray backgrounds and you browsed with Netscape Navigator. I've always been one that wanted to know how things worked, so I began the process of teaching myself HTML, not knowing that I had begun a process of continued web development self-teaching that has now been nearly 30 years! For many years, it was my side hustle, but since 2006, it has been my full-time gig. That started with my own Joomla CMS-based business that took me to 2017, where I had to get off of that long ride and start a new chapter. I ended up in the agency space, digging more into WordPress and other platforms, but then landed a role that put me into the wonderful world of HubSpot. Now, I'm a full-on believer and evangelist of the HubSpot CMS platform and love to use it, teach it, and build cool custom elements around it. I even write an occasional parody song to further express how cool HubSpot is. :)
