Changing permission sets to something else and changing back to the orginal permissison set was a work around for the bug.

We have a number of paid Sales seats but with the new Seat model our remaining users got put in View-Only. We moved those users to Core or Service seats but they still are unable to edit tasks. We have checked permissions (and they all worked LAST read more
