Adding OAuth for "Other email provider" option (for IMAP)
Since Microsoft cut the support for basic IMAP authentication, we are unable to connect to Exchange IMAP and at the same time connect to a different service for SMTP. This is valid for SMTP/IMAP option under "Other email provider" section. We n read more

Enable Modern Authentication for Microsoft Office 365
In 2019 Microsoft announced that sometime in 2021 they would be retiring Basic Authentication for legacy protocols ( including but not limited to, SMTP, POP, IMAP, ActiveSync Basic, MAPI Basic). This was postponed during the height of the pandemic. read more
