Stephanie McReynolds

Stephanie McReynolds is Head of Marketing at Ambient.ai. With over 20 years of experience in marketing and product management, she has a track record of bringing new data, analytics, and AI technologies to market, as well as leading category creation initiatives. At Ambient.ai, McReynolds is leading the company’s customer acquisition and evangelism efforts, generating awareness of the company’s breakthrough computer vision intelligence capabilities. Prior to Ambient.ai, she was instrumental in the creation of the data catalog market as the first marketing leader at Alation. She evangelized the impact of data catalogs on the productivity of data teams, working with academics at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business to publish groundbreaking research that quantified the impact of data catalog technology on the workflow of analysts and data scientists in the enterprise. She built the first marketing team at self-service data preparation provider Trifacta, which pioneered the category of self-service data preparation in 2014. Before Trifacta, Stephanie held senior marketing and product management positions at Teradata, Aster Data, and Oracle. McReynolds started her career working for Regis McKenna at the boutique technology marketing consulting firm, the McKenna Group, and Steve Blank’s analytics-based marketing automation company, E.piphany Software, where she found her passion for early machine learning-powered recommendation systems. McReynolds earned a bachelor’s and master’s in international relations from Stanford University during which time she studied abroad in Moscow and Oxford. She lives in San Mateo, California with her husband and two boys.
