If there are multiple contacts on a deal, and we have a workflow associated with the deal to send a series of emails - will one email go to all the contacts on the Deal OR will each contact get an individual email?

I have a workflow that exits contacts if they reply to an email in the workflow. I'm wondering if automatic email replies like "out of office/on vacation" will count as a reply and exit the contact from the workflow. Thanks for clarifying.
