Lawrence Silver

Lawrence Silver received his Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University. He also received a Master of Arts (Industrial/Organizational Psychology), MBA, and Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from Louisiana Tech University. He has taught at Louisiana Tech, Troy University, Mississippi College, and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Between his undergraduate and graduate work, Dr. Silver served as an officer in the United States Navy and was an independent property and casualty insurance agent for over twenty years and achieved the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations. Dr. Silver maintains his contacts with business practitioners through his active membership in several North Texas real estate investment groups and serves on the Economic Development 4A Board in Melissa, TX. Dr. Silver is currently the John Massey Endowed Chair and professor of marketing at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
